Cogeco Media appoints Caroline Jamet as President
MONTREAL, Jan. 8, 2025/ - Cogeco Inc. is delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Jamet as President, Cogeco Media, effective February 3rd, 2025.
Caroline Jamet, a distinguished executive in the media and entertainment industry, brings a wealth of experience and notable achievements to her new role. Early in her career with L'Équipe Spectra, she became a prominent figure in shaping Québec's cultural scene, contributing significantly to the growth and international recognition of the Montreal Jazz Festival and FrancoFolies de Montréal. At Gesca, the former owner of La Presse, she managed two publishing divisions and played a pivotal role in the newspaper's digital transformation. Most recently, Ms. Jamet led the French Radio and Audio sector at Radio-Canada, where she boosted market share and spearheaded the development of a successful digital strategy.
