Lucien-L’Allier train station reopens this weekend
The Lucien-L’Allier train station is reopening on Saturday in Montreal.
Montreal's Lucien-L’Allier train station is set to reopen on Saturday, welcoming the return of three train lines.
Exo has announced that commuters using Line 11 (Vaudreuil/Hudson), Line 12 (Saint-Jérôme), and Line 14 (Candiac) will once again have direct access to downtown Montreal. Line 11 services will resume on December 21, while Lines 12 and 14 will follow on December 23.
The station underwent extensive renovations, which began in April with a budget of $69 million. Upgrades included a wooden canopy for better weather protection, improved boarding platform accessibility, and the addition of new emergency exits.
“Some work remains to be completed, including the addition of tactile tiles on the platforms and updates to interior and exterior signage. The extension of track number six is also scheduled for completion in spring 2025,” stated a press release.
For Line 12, trains 180 and 187 will resume their regular service in 2025, maintaining their current schedules. Presently, the 180 train departs at 7:30 a.m. from Parc Station, while the 187 train begins its journey at Parc Station at 5:35 p.m.
