Montreal public health warns of measles, lists 7 possible exposure sites
Three healthcare facilities in Côte-des-Neiges and Cartierville and four businesses in Mile End and the Plateau were visited by the infected individual between Dec. 22 and Jan. 3.
With vaccination rates for measles on the decline, Montreal public health officials have confirmed a case of the disease in the city. The individual was contagious between December 22 and January 3 and visited several locations during this period. Authorities have provided a list of seven places the infected person visited, which include three healthcare facilities in Côte-des-Neiges and Cartierville, as well as four businesses in Mile End and the Plateau.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, even individuals who have received the recommended two doses of the measles vaccine have a small risk of contracting the disease—about 3 out of 100 people.
