A separate source shared that Holland had been planning the proposal “for a while,” and that “everyone close to them knew an engagement was coming,” although they were unsure of the exact timing.
“He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special,” the source continued.
The couple, known for their roles as Peter Parker and Michelle "M.J." Jones in the latest Spider-Man films, publicly acknowledged their romance in 2021. However, rumors of their relationship first surfaced in 2017 when fans noticed their on-screen chemistry. Despite this, both Zendaya and Tom Holland repeatedly denied the rumors, insisting they were just friends.
